अध्यात्मविद्या विद्यानां वाद: प्रवदतामहम् || १०.३२ ||
Summary Translation:
Of all creations I am the beginning and the end and also the middle, O Arjuna. Of all sciences I am the spiritual science of the self, and among logicians I am the conclusive truth [Vada].
Krishna identifies the 'Theoretic Span of Existence and Intellectual Depth.' He says, 'sargāṇām ādir antaśh cha madhyaṁ chaivāham'—of all creations (sargāṇām), I am the beginning (ādi), the end (anta), and also the middle (madhyam). 'adhyātma-vidyā vidyānām'—of all sciences (vidyānām), I am the science of the Self (Adhyatma-vidya). 'vādaḥ pravadatām aham'—among those who debate/discuss (pravadatām), I am Vada (the logic that leads to truth). This analysis focuses on the 'Theoretic Totality of Time.' Krishna is not just the creator but the 'Process' itself. In the 'Theoretic Framework of Epistemology,' Adhyatma-vidya is the 'Queen of Sciences' because while other sciences study the 'Known,' this science studies the 'Knower.' Without knowing the Self, all other knowledge is secondary and temporary. This detailed analysis reveals that Krishna defines 'Vāda' as the highest form of discussion—distinct from *Jalpa* (arguing to win) or *Vitanda* (arguing to destroy). Vada is the 'Conclusive Reasoning' that seeks only the Truth. This shloka provides a ' Framework for the Intellectual Divine.' It teaches that God is found in the 'Reason' and the 'Spirit.' Krishna is telling Arjuna that 'I am the origin, the journey, and the destination; I am the knowledge that liberates, and the logic that uncovers reality.' This is the ' Goal of the Wise Seeker,' where 'The Truth' is 'Identified'.
The detailed analysis of 'Adhyātma-vidyā vidyānām' (Of sciences, the science of Self) is the 'Theoretic Description of Essential Knowledge.' In our practical lives, we accumulate facts. Krishna is stating that He is the 'Wisdom' that gives meaning to all facts. Krishna is defining 'The Self' as the 'Thread' that connects birth and death (the Middle). This shloka provides a 'Framework for the Sanity of Logic.' It teaches that 'Vada' represents the 'Honesty' of the intellect. Krishna is defining 'Beginning, Middle, and End' as the complete cycle of the universe. This verse is the ' Proof that the Lord is the meaning behind every sentence and the silence between every thought.' By listing these three, He covers 'Time,' 'Knowledge,' and 'Reasoning.' This shloka is the 'Universal Manual for Logical Spirituality,' forcing us to realize that 'God is not an object to be found, but the Subject who is finding'. This is the ' Goal of the Logical Seeker,' where 'The Reason' is 'Localized'.
