Summary Translation:

Speaking, evacuating, receiving, or opening or closing his eyes, he always knows that only the material senses are engaged with their objects and that he is aloof from them.

Detailed Analysis:

Krishna continues the 'Inventory of Physiological Separation.' He says, 'pralapan visrujan gruhnan'—speaking (pralapan), evacuating (visrujan), grasping/receiving (gruhnan). 'unmishan nimishan api'—opening the eyes (unmishan) and closing the eyes (nimishan) also (api). 'indriyani-indriyartheshu'—the senses (indriyani) among sense objects (indriya-artheshu). 'vartanta iti dharayan'—acting (vartante) thus (iti) convinced (dharayan). This analysis focuses on the 'Total Biological Surrender.' Krishna extends the list of activities to include even the most 'Involuntary' ones, like blinking (*Unmishan Nimishan*). The 'Dharayan' (convinced/holding the realization) is the key mental state. The Yogi is convinced that 'Senses are just doing their job.' The eye is 'Designed' to blink; the voice is 'Designed' to speak. This is the ' Analysis of the Interface.' The soul is like a 'User' of a complex computer system. The user is not the 'CPU,' the 'Monitor,' or the 'Mouse.' When the mouse moves, the user doesn't think 'I am moving.' They think 'The cursor is moving because I am moving the mouse.' Similarly, the Yogi realizes that the 'Senses' are 'Interface Devices' interacting with 'Sense Objects' (*Indriyartheshu*). This analysis reveals that 'Enlightenment' is not 'Stopping' the body, but 'Understanding' the body. It is the 'Ultimate Release' from the 'Exhaustion' of being the 'Manager' of every heartbeat and breath. Krishna is teaching Arjuna to let the 'Warrior Body' act, while the 'Divine Soul' remains the 'Quiet Observer.'

The detailed analysis of 'Dharayan' is the ' Description of the Unwavering Conviction.' In our practical lives, we are 'Distracted.' Krishna is stating that 'Wisdom' is a 'Fixed Perspective.' Krishna is defining 'The Self' as the 'Aloof Principal.' This shloka provides a 'Framework for the Mechanistic View of Nature.' It teaches that 'The Body' is 'Automated.' Krishna is defining 'Indriyartheshu' as the 'Natural Playground.' This verse is the ' Completion of the Sakshi-Bhava.' By using the word 'Api' (even), He includes the smallest, most mundane details of life. This shloka is the 'Universal Key to Non-Reaction,' forcing us to realize that 'The Body is a temporary costume'. This is the ' Goal of Radical Disconnection,' where 'The Spirit' is 'Undisturbed'.

Deep Philosophical Significance and Analysis:

Philosophically, Shloka 5.9 explores the 'Concept of the Senses-in-Motion.' , 'Nature' is a 'Closed Loop.' This verse highlights the 'Theory of the Indifferent Consciousness.' Philosophically, it addresses the 'Nature of Dharayan' (Holding/Convinced). , 'Knowledge' must be 'Held' until it becomes 'Intuition.' This verse highlights the 'Ontology of the Transcendent Identity.'

The framework of 'Indriyani-Indriyartheshu' refers to the 'Electromagnetic interaction of Gunas.' , it is just 'Matter interacting with Matter.' Philosophically, this verse addresses the 'Nature of Speech' (Pralapan). , even 'Communication' is a 'Mechanical Output' of the 'Prakriti.' This shloka is the 'End of the Hero-Complex.' , 'I' am not the 'Hero' of the story; 'I' am the 'Reader.' Philosophically, it highlights the 'Relationship between the Blinking Eye and the Eternal Eye.' , the 'Physical Eye' blinks to survive, but the 'Spiritual Eye' stays open to see. Krishna is teaching 'Metaphysical Calm.' From a religious perspective, this shloka teaches 'The Way of the Siddha.' This verse is the ' Proof that we are not the body,' providing the logical structure to understand that 'Life is a divine play'. It highlights the 'Sanatana' wisdom that 'The Spirit' is 'Ever Supreme'.
