॥ Chapter 6, Shloka 47 ॥

योगिनामपि सर्वेषां मद्गतेनान्तरात्मना |
श्रद्धावान्भजते यो मां स मे युक्ततमो मत: || ६.४७ ||

Summary Translation:

And of all yogis, the one with great faith who always abides in Me, thinks of Me within himself, and renders loving service to Me—he is the most intimately united with Me in yoga and is the highest of all. That is My opinion.

Detailed Analysis:

Krishna delivers the 'Theoretic Apex of the Entire Gita.' He says, 'yogīnām api sarveṣhāṁ'—of all (sarveṣhām) yogis (yogīnām) even (api). 'mad-gatenāntar-ātmanā'—with the inner self (antar-ātmanā) merged in Me (mad-gatena). 'śhraddhāvān bhajate yo māṁ'—one who with faith (śhraddhāvān) renders service (bhajate) to Me (mām). 'sa me yuktatamo mataḥ'—he (saḥ) is by Me (me) the most intimately united (yukta-tamaḥ) considered (mataḥ). This analysis focuses on the 'Theoretic Primacy of Bhakti-Yoga.' Krishna has spent the chapter describing the 'Dhyana Yogi' (the meditator), but now He defines the 'Yuktatama' (the most perfect) as the one whose heart is 'Mad-gatena' (gone to Me). In the 'Theoretic Analysis of the Ultimate Union,' 'Faith' (*Śhraddhā*) and 'Devotion' (*Bhajate*) are the 'Accelerants' that make the Yogi's meditation 'Alive.' This detailed analysis reveals that Krishna defines 'The Highest Yogi' as the one who has turned 'Solitary Meditation' into 'Divine Relationship.' This shloka provides a ' Framework for the Personal Absolute.' It teaches that 'The Self' is not just a 'Point of Light' to be found, but a 'Person' to be loved. Krishna is telling Arjuna that the 'Yogi' is 'Most Perfect' when they are 'Devoted.' This is the ' Goal of the Devoted Seeker,' where 'The Unity' is 'Absolute'.

The detailed analysis of 'Yuktatamaḥ' (Most intimately united) is the 'Theoretic Description of the Spiritual Superlative.' In our practical lives, we want 'Connection.' Krishna is stating that 'Bhakti' (Devotion) is the 'Highest Connection.' Krishna is defining 'The Heart' as the 'Seat of Yoga.' This shloka provides a 'Framework for Total Surrender.' It teaches that 'Meditation' reaches its 'Zenith' when it becomes 'Worship.' Krishna is defining 'The Supreme Opinion' as the 'Final Word' on spiritual achievement. This verse is the ' Bridge to Chapter 7.' By using the phrase 'Me Yuktatamo Mataḥ,' He invites Arjuna to move from 'Self-Control' to 'God-Absorption.' This shloka is the 'Universal Manual for the Lover of Truth,' forcing us to realize that 'The mind is truly stilled only when it is filled with God'. This is the ' Goal of the Loving Seeker,' where 'The Connection' is 'Eternal'.

Deep Philosophical Significance and Analysis:

Philosophically, Shloka 6.47 explores the 'Ontology of the Devout Consciousness.' , 'Yoga' is a 'Search.' 'Bhakti' is the 'Discovery.' This verse highlights the 'Theory of the Relational Infinite.' Philosophically, it addresses the 'Nature of Mad-gatena' (Merged in Me). , 'Merging' is not the 'Loss of Identity' but the 'Completion of Identity.' This verse highlights the 'Ontology of the Beloved Self.'

The framework of 'Śhraddhāvān' (The Faithful) refers to 'The Epistemology of the Heart.' , 'Reason' can only go so far; 'Faith' is the 'Leap' into the 'Arms of the Divine.' Philosophically, this verse addresses the 'Nature of the Highest Yogi.' , the 'Highest Yogi' is the one who has 'Sacrificed' the 'Ego' for 'Divine Love.' This shloka is the 'End of Chapter 6.' , 'Meditation' (Dhyana) is the 'Body' and 'Devotion' (Bhakti) is the 'Soul.' Philosophically, it highlights the 'Relationship between Awareness and Love.' , 'Awareness' without 'Love' is 'Cold.' 'Love' without 'Awareness' is 'Blind.' Krishna is teaching 'Metaphysical Warmth.' From a religious perspective, this shloka teaches 'The Supremacy of Krishna-consciousness.' This verse is the ' Proof that the personal form of God is the easiest and highest focus,' providing the logical structure to understand that 'God is found in the intimacy of the soul'. It highlights the 'Sanatana' wisdom that 'The Spirit' is 'Found in the Beloved'.
