Summary Translation:
Arjuna said: By this most confidential spiritual knowledge which You have kindly delivered to me, my illusion is now dispelled.
Arjuna acknowledges the 'Theoretic Resolution of Delusion.' He begins with 'mad-anugrahāya'—out of compassion for me. This analysis focuses on the 'Theoretic Necessity of Divine Grace.' Knowledge alone is not enough; it must be bestowed by the Grace of the Supreme Lord. Arjuna refers to the teachings as 'paramaṁ guhyam adhyātma-sañjñitam'—the most confidential spiritual science regarding the Self. In the 'Theoretic Framework of Devotion,' the disciple must first admit that their previous understanding was 'Moha' (Illusion). By stating 'moho ’yaṁ vigato mama,' Arjuna declares that his confusion about duty, life, and death has been vanished by Krishna's words in the previous chapters. This detailed analysis reveals that Krishna's description of His Vibhutis (opulences) served as a 'Theoretic Preparation' for the grand vision that is about to follow. Arjuna is no longer looking at the world with material eyes; he is beginning to perceive the spiritual substrate of reality. This shloka provides a ' Framework for the Disciple’s Progress.' It teaches that when the Guru speaks from a place of compassion, the disciple's ignorance is naturally incinerated. Arjuna is expressing that 'The words spoken for my benefit have cleared the fog of my mind.' This is the ' Goal of the Awakened Seeker,' where 'The Illusion' is 'Dispelled'.
The detailed analysis of 'Adhyātma-sañjñitam' (Termed as Adhyatma) is the 'Theoretic Description of Essential Reality.' In our human journey, we often confuse the body with the soul. Arjuna is stating that the 'Theoretic Truth' of the Self has finally reached his heart. Krishna is defining 'The Self' as the 'Confidential Secret' that is only revealed to the sincere devotee. This shloka provides a 'Framework for the Transformation of Consciousness.' It teaches that 'Moha' is not just a lack of facts, but a fundamental misperception of existence. Arjuna is defining 'Grace' (Anugrahāya) as the primary catalyst for spiritual evolution. This verse is the ' Proof that Divine Wisdom is the only cure for existential grief.' By acknowledging this, Arjuna prepares himself for the 'Vishvarupa.' This shloka is the 'Universal Manual for Expressing Gratitude to the Guru,' forcing us to realize that 'True knowledge is a gift that removes the burden of confusion'. This is the ' Goal of the Grateful Seeker,' where 'The Truth' is 'Received'.
