Summary Translation:
Sanjaya said: O King, having spoken thus, the Supreme Lord of all mystic power, the Personality of Godhead, displayed His sovereign universal form to Arjuna.
Sanjaya identifies the 'Theoretic Culmination of the Promise.' He says, 'evam uktvā tato rājan'—having spoken thus, O King (Dhritarashtra). This analysis focuses on the 'Theoretic Role of the Narrator.' Sanjaya is witnessing this through his own 'Divya Drishti' given by Vyasa. He calls Krishna 'mahā-yogeśhvaro hariḥ'—the Great Lord of all Yoga, Hari. This detailed analysis reveals that Sanjaya defines 'Hari' as the one who 'steals' away the ignorance of His devotees. 'darśhayām āsa pārthāya'—He displayed to the son of Pritha (Arjuna) 'paramaṁ rūpam aiśhvaram'—His Supreme Sovereign Form. This shloka provides a ' Framework for the Moment of Revelation.' It teaches that the Divine Form is not just a concept but a 'Phenomenological Event.' Sanjaya is telling the blind King that 'The Greatest Yoga is now happening on the battlefield.' This is the ' Goal of the Historical Seeker,' where 'The Promise' is 'Fulfilled'.
The detailed analysis of 'Mahā-yogeśhvaro' (Great Lord of Yoga) is the 'Theoretic Description of the Ultimate Strategist.' In our practical lives, we see yoga as a set of exercises. Sanjaya is stating that Yoga is the 'Theoretic Power of Creation.' Krishna is defining 'The Self' as the 'Revealer.' This shloka provides a 'Framework for the Witnessing Consciousness.' It teaches that Sanjaya is also a 'Participant' in this vision because of his grace. Krishna is defining 'Aiśhvaram' as the ' Quality of Absolute Sovereignty.' This verse is the ' Proof that the Lord keeps His word.' By showing this form to Arjuna, He covers the 'Ultimate Experience' of the Gita. This shloka is the 'Universal Manual for Recognizing the Divine Action,' forcing us to realize that 'The Absolute Reality is now manifest in time and space'. This is the ' Goal of the Observer Seeker,' where 'The Action' is 'Localized'.
